What does WoW The War Within offer?

What can you look forward to in the new WoW The War Within extension? There will be significant changes with the introduction of Warbands and Skyriding, as well as class and system updates. Additionally, there are four large new zones and eight new dungeons, Shamans will receive a new raid buff that makes them even more important, the camera options have been reworked, and much more.

At first glance, the latest WoW The War Within extension might not seem to offer many big, groundbreaking features. However, the developers of WoW TWW have placed great emphasis on detail and improving well-known features that will benefit the game in the long run. Nonetheless, we can still look forward to numerous exciting new additions in WoW The War Within.

 WoW TTW introduces Warbands

Warbands are probably one of the biggest features in recent years that WoW The War Within will bring. With WoW TWW, every account will become a Warband. Almost all resources and achievements will henceforth be account-bound and will apply to the entire account. This means you can easily transfer your resources between characters. With the introduction of Warbands, the developers of WoW are also showing more love for alts and responding to a long-held wish of many fans: In WoW TWW, you no longer have to unlock all gear multiple times for each alt. However, you do not have free choice over which characters belong to your Warband. All characters on an account automatically belong to the Warband.

WoW The War Within: Heroic talents instead of talent trees

Among the larger features that WoW The War Within brings are certainly the Hero Talents. They replace the previously known talent trees, which will no longer expand. Instead, smaller, separate talent trees have been created in WoW TWW: the Hero Talents. These are designed to significantly improve one or two abilities and slightly change the way your class is played. Additionally, WoW The War Within will introduce level 80 as the new maximum level.

Skyriding and Earthen Dwarves

Dragonriding remains in the game with the latest extension. In WoW The War Within, numerous flying mounts will be available in all regions, allowing characters to fly. The game characters can choose between the new Skyriding (formerly known as “dynamic flying”) and the “consistent flight” style.

In addition, WoW The War Within will introduce a new allied race: Earthen Dwarves. However, there will be no new classes in the latest extension.

Nevertheless, WoW TWW will feature spectacular and exciting new dungeons.

Delves – the depths of Azeroth

With WoW The War Within, Delves – The Depths of Azeroth will be introduced: mini-dungeons that can be found in the open world. In Delves, you can explore underground caves, find treasures and special loot, and fight alongside NPCs. You can venture into the Delves with a group or explore them on your own. The Delves are particularly suitable for short sessions in WoW.

The new zones of WoW The War Within

WoW The War Within introduces four large new zones. Three of these zones are underground caves, which are very spacious and varied.

Isle of Dorn

This island was discovered off the western coast of Pandaria. It serves as the entry point to the new WoW The War Within extension. Here, you will find the Earthen and their land Khaz Algar. Additionally, the new capital city Dornogal, which will be the hub of the new extension, is located here.

Ringing Deeps

This is where the descent into the planet’s depths begins. The Earthlings (“Machine Speakers”) also live here. They use ancient Titan devices to shape the world and stop those who are pushing upward from the depths.

Hallowfall

This zone is illuminated by a massive crystal on the ceiling. As a result, there is blooming vegetation and habitat for multiple races here, including the Arathi, light-worshiping humans who fight against the Nerubians.

Azj-Kahet

Asj-Kahet is the heart of Nerubian culture and the center of their kingdom. It is the target of Xal’atath, who seeks to create an invincible army with the Nerubians.

WoW The War With should expand the WoW community

After a temporary decline in subscription numbers, World of Warcraft was once predicted to be on the verge of extinction. But WoW is far from dead, and the user numbers are once again on the rise. With an estimated current count of around 7 million subscribers, WoW still remains one of the most successful multiplayer online role-playing games worldwide. These figures are based on a public presentation by WoW franchise head John Hight in March this year at the Game Developers Conference (GDC).

With the new WoW The War Within extension, developer Blizzard Entertainment is likely to attract even more customers. After all, every expansion typically draws new players. Not bad prospects for WoW TWW, especially since its predecessor Dragonflight, according to Blizzard, is the most successful extension in the game’s history.
